Instead, do the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Take a moment to understand their perspective and ask questions to uncover their concerns. A simple, \u201cI understand where you\u2019re coming from\u201d can go a long way.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Probe deeper. Ask questions to understand why they feel the price is too high. Even simply saying, \u201cPlease tell me more,\u201d could help you uncover their underlying concerns.&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Shift the conversation to focus on the value and benefits your solution offers. Remember: People don\u2019t buy products; they buy solutions to their problems.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201cI need to think it over!\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If a customer wants to \u201cthink it over,\u201d try to help them through their decision-making process by finding out exactly what they are unsure about. Try this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Don\u2019t push for an immediate decision. Respect their need for time and space. You could say, \u201cI understand you need to think about this.\u201d<\/li><li><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Seek clarity. Ask what specific aspects they would like to think over. You could ask, \u201cIs it the price? Is it the implementation? Or is there another concern we haven\u2019t talked about?\u201d This will help you address their problems more effectively.<\/li><li><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Provide additional information, testimonials, or case studies that might help them.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Quick Recap&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When faced with the \u201chigh price\u201d objection, don\u2019t rush to defend your price. Instead, probe deeper to understand their concerns; then, reframe the conversation around value, reminding customers that the sweetness of low price is quickly forgotten when you have to deal day after day with the bitterness of low quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When dealing with the \u201cthink it over\u201d objection, respect their need for time, seek clarity on what they want to think over, and help customers make their own decisions. You could say, \u201cI am committed to working harder to make this decision easier for you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember: Every customer objection is a question in disguise. Every objection is an opportunity to understand your customer better and tailor your approach to meet their needs.
